At this meeting, they should have simply reconsidered the prior motion, and then voted it down, thereby allowing a new motion to be put forward based on a renegotiated agreement.

However, the first motion was to rescind the agreement, followed by a substitute motion to scrap most of the agreement and an intention to renegotiate. Even the board members were confused.

This matter will be brought back before the body at the next meeting, most likely.
