Veterans For Peace, San Diego Chapter
The San Diego Veterans For Peace will display Arlington West at the pier in Oceanside on December 9. Over 2300 crosses will be displayed with candles and flags to memorialize our solders killed in Iraq. The military service, name, rank, age and date of death will be read for all those killed to date. The formal memorial will be from 12 noon to 7PM. Below is a photo of the same memorial this past August.
The public is encouraged to participate in all phases of the memorial, including setup starting at 8AM, and take down of the display at 7PM.
