This is an egregious example of how a company with money and political connections can have their way with local government regulations.

Donna Frye said the resolution did not contain the provisions to improve internal systems but that would be included. Council agreed to ask Blackwater to forgive the debt and to improve internal system to avoid future misuse by unscrupulous companies.
