This meeting is the first hearing held by the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) regarding the impact on rates due to the shutdown of the San Onofre nuclear plant since the settlement was proposed on Jan 30, 2018, which will return an additional $775 million to ratepayers over the original settlement.
