More Info: CA 50 Congressional District

On Monday, August 2, we hand-delivered our first request to Duncan D. Hunter to participate in a series of eight debates around the district. We requested a response within 48 hours so we could firm up the commitments with those venues.

After receiving no response from Hunter's campaign, we hand-delivered a second request to his office, this time video recording it. This request was delivered on Friday, August 6 and we requested a response by Monday, August 9 at 5pm.

We received no response. The debates were canceled, and Ray Lutz has since announced a "Hungry for accountability in Congress" Hunger Strike.

As of Wednesday, August 18, we still have no direct communication from the Hunter campaign, contrary to their statements in the media.
