PRWork For Jan 28 Meeting

This topic will summarize the tasks completed for the PR and announcement of the Jan 28th meeting. The press release for the COPs program is the most important, and it must be sent to all the major news outlets. This is time critical, whereas the other calendar changes are not as critical. We will start on that first.

Nell, if you get this far, we should probably chat to make sure we don't step on each other's toes. Here is the summary that I emailed to you:

1. Press Release on COPS program. Need to get this to the major news papers, KLSD, etc. I've attached a couple of formats. Probably .DOC is the best to use. The release of this is a bit more careful than the calendar releases, but you can send it to all those contacts too. I copied Mike Thaller? on the original release.

  • Sent to list of release recipients
  • Submitted to Progressive Post

2. Meeting Announcements We should try to get two announcements into Jellison, UT probably one will do.

  • Completed! Sent to all contacts.

Jellison and other calendar contacts, send two requests.
