Festivals Committee

• Task: Registrations/ Club promotion at festivals, parades, local colleges, public areas of malls.

• Festivals/Events supported or proposed.
  • Lakeside "Western-days" Parade, April 26, 2008. Contact Lakeside chamber of commerce.
  • Campo Round-up -- On Lake Morena Rd., May 3, 2008.
  • "Celebrate America Picnic" at Potrero County Park, near July 4th.
  • Crest Parade - July 4th. - Arrive early and get in line for the parade. Need to have a booth at the park next year.
  • Oktoberfest La Mesa - Oct 5,6,7 - Support in cooperation with La Mesa-Foothills Democratic Club.
  • Oktoberfest El Cajon - Sep 28, 29, & 30, Oct 5,6,7; 1017 So. Mollison, El Cajon, CA 92020 (Fridays from 3pm - 10pm; Saturdays Noon - 10pm; and Sundays Noon - 9pm.) Still need to see if a booth is possible, perhaps in trade for parking at CRMS.
