  • Sup. Jacob claims that the meeting is "informal" and therefore no subject to the Brown Act. We'll be looking into this further.
  • She says that she can't listen to citizens regarding Blackwater due to a law... I've asked see that law and will let you know what it is, so we can all understand this.
  • We'll be drilling into these two issues in the near future.
  • Jacob admitted that she had a private meeting with Duncan Hunter and Blackwater. Carl Meyers said he has more details.
  • I dropped off a letter with signed petitions as a start to what we will submit later. I gave her the Courage Campaign (preliminary) letter as well.
  • The event was still effective, in my view, as it was clear that the Blackwater opponents made an impression, and were courteous, nonetheless.
